SYNOPSIS

dial ["connection name"]
dialn [ifn]
DESCRIPTION
Command dial "connection name" immediately dials the specified connection. If no connection name is specified, the file dialup.txt is executed, if it exists. Otherwise, the Default Autodial Connection is dialed.

Command dialn ifn immediately dials the Autodial Connection of the specified interface. If the interface has no Autodial Connection, the Autodial Default Connection is dialed. If argument ifn is 0, the current Autodial Default Connection is dialed. If no interface number is specified, the file dial.txt is executed, if it exists. Otherwise, the Default Autodial Connection is dialed.

Once the connection is established, it is associated with the specified ifn (if it is available), or the first available PPP Client interface. If the association is successful, the NAT32 Routing Table is adjusted, and the interface's IP Mapping, Port Mapping and DNS Mapping flags are set according to the interface's settings. If no association was made, no further action is taken.

NOTES
The connection name must be enclosed with double-quotes if it contains white-space characters.

No other dial or hangup operations are allowed while a dial is in progress.
