Browser Filter Settings

The Browser Filter mechanism is used to filter URLs so that popups, HTTPS requests and Internet Explorer objects can be selectively blocked.

The embedded browser can selectively filter popups, frames, HTTPS requests and Internet Explorer objects. It can also query each URL before it is fetched, and allow modifications to that URL to be made. The URL is analysed and the host name is checked against the DNSRD lists before a Query Dialog Box is displayed.

An authorization string can be injected into the GET request if needed. URL filtering using file block.ini is also supported.
