NAME

setwns - interact with Windows default DNS settings
SYNOPSIS
setwns [ips]
setwns [i ips]
getwns [i]

Use ns to resolve a name or address.

...
DESCRIPTION
When invoked with no arguments, setwns returns the list of default DNS Server addresses currently configured under Windows.

If DNS Server addresses are specified as a comma-separated list, they replace the list currently held in the Windows Registry. If an interface index i is specified, the command displays or sets the values for the specified interface. The special interface index w denotes the current Windows "best" interface (also known as the "preferred" interface).

NOTES
Exercise caution when using this command, as it modifies the Windows Registry.
