NAME

setsteg - modify Steganos VPN settings [DEPRECATED]
SYNOPSIS
setsteg ifn [ip]

...
DESCRIPTION
Command setsteg initializes NAT32 support for a Steganos VPN interface. Argument ifn is the interface number; argument ip is the IP address of that interface.

The NAT32 environment variable steganos must be set and it must be equal to argument ifn, otherwise the command has no effect.

NOTES

The default route added to the NAT32 Routing Table is always one less than the specified IP address.

Command setsteg fetches the MAC address of the Steganos Gateway from the Windows ARP Table. Whenever Windows refreshes that ARP binding via an ARP Request, NAT32 will see the response and update its binding for the gateway address.
