setd - set the global domain name
setdi - set an interface-specific domain name
SYNOPSIS
setd [name]DESCRIPTION
setdi [ifn [name]]
When invoked with no argument, setd prints the current global DNS domain name. When invoked with one argument, setd sets the current DNS domain name to name.NOTESCommand setdi is similar, but operates on interface-specific DNS domain names.
Altered settings are not recorded in any configuration file or in the Windows Registry. To make settings permanent, the command should be placed in file user.txt.
NAT32 determines the Domain Name at startup by extracting the appropriate value from the Windows Registry. If Windows has no notion of a Domain Name, then neither will NAT32.SEE ALSODomain Names assigned by Windows DHCP are not stored in the Windows Registry.
